Security Warning

It has been brought to my attention (kudos Gili) that there is a slight security risk in Waste which can be addressed easily.

Someone can send you files and the standard action is to receive. but with a small checkbox you can make sure WASTE will ask you if you want the file or not:

go to:
File > Preferences > Receiving > and check the box that says: "Prompt before accepting"

here's a pic of the checkbox (click for larger version):

Hi,

I have problem while downloading files with extended latin characters (i am a heavy consumer of these kind of files)
when i try to download them i get "file not found" error.

for example do a search for:
" tĂș "
and try to download one of the files you get on the search results.

Do you have any idea how to overcome this?

Thanks,

Brasilero

this looks like a bug in WASTE.

The only possible solution i can see is renaming the files to english.

perhaps i'm wrong, though.

It sucks!

DC could download files 4 times the speed this can.
And much more friendly..
Is there any possibility to get back to DC?

cant we just establish some permanent chat channel like #Main or something, because every now and then someone wants to ask a question (me including) and don't know who to ask, if there was a channel where everybody were than someone who knows could have answered if he saw the question.

Hi
can't we open external DC Hub like all the other hubs in the internet?
